Version 1.09 
 

This version of Animat requires Firefox 3.5 or later in order to fully operate. A monitor with a resolution of at least 1024 x 768 pixels is assumed.

 

IMPORTANT: edit session files saved with experimental version 0.81 are not compatible with this new version of Animat and therefore cannot be loaded.

Installation 
 

Animat is a Firefox extension that can be installed directly by clicking on the "Install / Download" link in the application homepage. Alternatively the downloaded file "animat-1.09.xpi" can be installed via the Tools > Add-ons option: simply drop the file onto the Add-ons window.

If successfully installed, in the Firefox "Tools" drop down menu should appear a new option "Animat png editor".

 

Manual 
 

The manual comes in form of a single HTML document with a total size of approximately 4.2 Mb. It is not tied to a version number but shows the date of the last update in the author paragraph.
